Jessica Dowdall is an experienced technology and data leader with a career that began in SAP and ERP systems, evolving through a decade of cloud transformation work across the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP). Over the past six years, she has focused on media and entertainment workloads, and now serves as Head of Data Operations at the BBC, leading the organisation’s data strategy “from glass to glass” spanning  enterprise-wide domains including media cloud production, metadata, and data platforms. Her work bridges technology and storytelling, enabling scalable, data-driven innovation across the BBC’s production and content ecosystem.
