Emma started her career as a researcher and Assistant Producer, going on to write and cut trails for the prestigious TV promo department at the BBC and produce short form content on BBC World News.    She therefore brings a strong creative, editorial and compliance understanding to her role as an Archive Producer.   

Emma still thinks the BBC Archive is the best in the world.  "It really is a cornucopia of delights but also a true reflection of culture and society that was the preserve of a Public Service Broadcaster.  You have decades of great commissioning to thank for that!'   

Since specialising as an Archive Researcher and Archive Producer, she has literally pivoted between the sublime and the ridiculous.  Peter Capaldi's The Cricklewood Greats and Car Crash Britain;  SAS Rogue Heroes and Narco Wars;  Profiles of Heroes and Villains;  The Brutalist and The Diamond Heist are just a few of the diverse projects, she feels really lucky to have worked on.  "Its not always easy but is always rewarding.  I feel so lucky to have learnt so much" 

Emma is currently working on James Ivory:  In Search of Love and Beauty, directed by Christopher Manning and Exec Produced by Wes Anderson.
